Student-Strength-and-Conditioning

Student Strength & Conditioning

Our Student Strength and Conditioning emphasizes keeping athletes conditioned in a structured environment.  Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for athletes.  Additionally, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on their academic achievement.

Our training methodology focuses on improving performance, fitness and endurance sports potential. The class provides a more aerobically focused training session that incorporates aspects of strength and metabolic conditioning.

The class runs 75 minutes and is infinitely scalable and appropriate for ALL levels of athletic experience.  With an emphasize on form and body awareness, from beginner athletes to the most advanced, we ensure each student moves to their potential.

NEW: BLCF COVID-19 GUIDELINES:

Texas executive order was issued and reads:

Every person in Texas shall wear a face covering over the nose and mouth when inside a commercial entity or other building or space open to the public, or when in an outdoor public space, wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household; provided, however, that this face-covering requirement does not apply to the following:

any person while the person is (a) exercising outdoors or engaging in physical activity outdoors, and (b) maintaining a safe distance from other people not in the same household;

What does this mean for BridgeLakes CrossFit?

As owners, we prefer our athletes DO NOT workout with a mask, nor would we ask you to. It’s unsafe in the humidity and heat and your safety is always priority. We have bay doors that provide an open air environment and industrial fans to provide a cross breeze to ensure appropriate air circulation.

What can we do as a team and what makes you feel comfortable?

  • In our environment we have dedicated workout spaces that ensure a minimum of 6 feet social distancing between athletes.  If YOU feel more comfortable wearing a mask out of your car and into your designated workout lane and then returning it after you workout, that decision rests with you as the individual.  We will not mandate this.
  • Everyone will have their own lane dedicated to them with their own equipment and disinfectant.
  • Wash or disinfect hands upon entering a gym.
  • Disinfect any equipment before and after use.
  • NO SHARING EQUIPMENT.
  • Please bring your own towels and water bottles.
  • Please be prompt with 11:45 pick up to limit student congregation and socializing.

Parents, please call 832-282.6862 to check availability and schedule a time to sign the student waiver.

Class placement will be confirmed upon signed waiver and session payment
